Article 1. Applicability and Definitions
These general terms and conditions apply to every agreement, offer, and quotation between Bliss Interior, hereafter referred to as the “Seller,” and a counterparty, hereafter referred to as the “Buyer.” The applicability of any purchase or other terms and conditions for the buyer is expressly rejected. If one or more provisions of these general terms and conditions are declared null and void or are annulled in whole or in part at any time, the remaining provisions of these general terms and conditions will remain fully applicable. Bliss Interior and the Buyer will then consult to agree on new provisions, taking into account the purpose and intent of the original provisions. In case of any ambiguity about the interpretation of one or more provisions of these general terms and conditions, the interpretation should be in line with the spirit of these provisions. If a situation arises between the parties that is not regulated in these general terms and conditions, this situation should be assessed in accordance with the spirit of these general terms and conditions. If Bliss Interior does not consistently enforce strict compliance with these general terms and conditions, this does not mean that the provisions thereof are not applicable or that Bliss Interior loses any right to insist on strict compliance with the provisions of these terms and conditions in other cases. Bliss Interior reserves the right to amend and/or supplement these general terms and conditions at any time. Acceptance of an offer or placing an order implies acceptance of the applicability of these general terms and conditions.
Article 2. Ordering
All prices and offers are non-binding unless a acceptance period is specified. An offer expires if the item to which the offer relates is no longer available in the meantime. An agreement is only concluded after Bliss Interior accepts the buyer’s order. An order is not valid if Bliss Interior cannot clearly establish your place of residence.
Article 3. Prices and Costs
The prices of Bliss Interior include 21% VAT and transport costs. All prices and offers are non-binding. The seller reserves the right to change prices at any time, especially when necessary based on legal regulations and requirements. In this case, the buyer has the right to terminate the agreement in writing.
Article 4. Delivery and Delivery Times
The delivery time starts after receipt of the deposit (60% of the purchase price) or confirmation of payment upon delivery (40% remainder of the purchase price) by the buyer and accepted by the seller. Bliss Interior takes the utmost care in receiving orders and dispatching ordered items. Bliss Interior dispatches accepted orders as soon as possible in order of receipt. If a delivery cannot take place or is delayed, for example, because the ordered items or parts of a custom-made furniture or product are not in stock, you will be notified no later than five days after placing the order. Bliss Interior is not liable for any damages resulting from exceeding the announced delivery times. Sometimes an item or a part of a furniture or product is out of stock or the delivery to Bliss Interior is delayed. To prevent the buyer from receiving all items later, Bliss Interior will contact you to discuss and decide on an alternative option or wait until everything is available.
Article 5. Transport Guarantee
All shipments are insured by Bliss Interior. If you notice damage to the furniture before use or damage to a packaged product, contact Bliss Interior immediately. If you have already opened the package when you notice the damage, you must report damage to items by email within 2 working days of delivery; otherwise, they will not be accepted.
Article 6. Orders and Payments
By placing an order with Bliss Interior, the customer agrees to make a deposit of 60% of the total order amount at the time of the order. Once this is paid, we proceed to order all goods and initiate transportation. The remaining 40% must be paid upon delivery of the products, i.e., once our carrier has placed all items inside, before they leave, this final 40% must be paid. If the customer fails to pay the final 40% of the order amount upon delivery, Bliss Interior reserves the right to postpone delivery or cancel the order. In case of cancellation, the customer is liable for any costs arising from the cancellation, including but not limited to restocking fees and incurred costs. Bliss Interior reserves the right to take legal action to collect the outstanding amount, including engaging a collection agency, with all costs arising from the collection process borne by the customer.
Article 7. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with Bliss Interior products, please contact Bliss Interior by email. If you have a complaint about a delivered item, contact Bliss Interior within 7 days after the defect has been revealed or you could reasonably have become aware of it. Bliss Interior aims to resolve any issues or complaints in consultation with the customer and in the best possible way.
Article 8. Warranty & Repairs
1. Defect: If the item is delivered defective or breaks within 14 days, report your complaint within the 14-day period, and Bliss Interior will exchange the furniture as soon as possible.
2. Warranty Period: If you have purchased furniture from Bliss Interior and it breaks within a certain period, the buyer is entitled to repair or replacement of the product if it is defective within the one-year warranty period.
3. Valid Complaint: A complaint is valid if it is not caused by unreasonable use, commercial use, improper or unauthorized use, incorrect storage or maintenance by the buyer or third parties, or by professional use.
4. No Warranty on Wood Movement: Given that it concerns wooden furniture, we want to inform you that wood may move. In winter, when indoor humidity is low, it may shrink slightly. This will return when humidity increases again. We do not guarantee any wood movement or warping.
5. Reporting a Complaint or Repair: This can be done by email or by phone. Our customer contact department will review the complaint and try to resolve it to everyone’s satisfaction.
6. Costs for Difficult Deliveries: When furniture is delivered and it is difficult to get inside or cannot be taken out, the costs to remove it from the home are the responsibility of the customer.

Duration of Repair: We always try to resolve the repair (exchange) within 4 weeks. The planning will then contact you to make an appointment for you to receive the furniture again.
Article 9. Retention of Title
Bliss Interior remains the owner of the products sold to the customer until the customer has paid the total amount due under the agreement.
Article 10. Privacy
By placing an order, you simultaneously give consent to Bliss Interior, if necessary, to use your personal data. The following privacy policy applies to every website visit, transaction, or agreement. Bliss Interior respects the privacy of all users of its website and ensures that the personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially. We use your data to process orders as quickly and easily as possible. Bliss Interior will not sell your personal information to third parties and will only make it available to third parties involved in fulfilling your order. Personal data is retained to provide the buyer with up-to-date product information until the ordered goods are delivered and to fulfill our warranty obligations to the buyer.
Article 11. Force Majeure
Bliss Interior is not obligated to fulfill any obligation to the buyer if it is hindered in doing so due to circumstances not attributable to fault and also not by law, a legal act, or prevailing opinions for its account. Force majeure is understood here as all external causes, foreseen or unforeseen, over which Bliss Interior cannot exercise any influence but which prevent it from fulfilling its obligations. Bliss Interior can suspend the obligations during the period of force majeure. If this period lasts longer than two months, each of the parties is entitled to terminate the agreement without an obligation to compensate the damage to the other party.

However, Bliss Interior cannot provide guarantees regarding the nature, accuracy, or content of this information. Bliss Interior is not liable for any errors or inaccuracies that may occur or for the consequences of using the relevant information. Bliss Interior cannot be held liable for color variations in fabrics, leather, wood, or other materials.
Article 13. Applicable Law and Disputes
Dutch law exclusively applies to all legal relationships in which Bliss Interior is a party, even if an obligation is wholly or partially performed abroad or if the party involved in the legal relationship has its place of residence there. The applicability of the Vienna Sales Convention is excluded. Parties will only invoke a judge after they have made every effort to settle a dispute through mutual consultation.
Article 14. Intellectual Property
Bliss Interior retains the intellectual property rights concerning the designs, images, drawings, technical specifications, and the like provided by it. In the event that an agreement does not materialize after a non-binding quotation, you are required to return all design drawings made by Bliss Interior and specifications provided by it; these may not be provided to third parties or copied for personal use or for having designs executed by another supplier than Bliss Interior. When providing images of the products delivered by Bliss Interior to the seller, the buyer waives the copyright to these images unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
